I like to help brands of all sizes grow through creative and data-driven marketing tactics. I also have a passion for motorcycling, astrophotography, woodworking (it keeps getting geekier right…), and gigs. That’s me in a nutshell! if you want to find out more, keep scrolling.

For me, marketing is the art of crafting irresistible experiences. It’s about igniting emotions.

It’s about creating a story that pulls your audience into a product that they can’t live without.

I’ve spent over 15 years being an hand-on marketer leading incredible marketing teams and delivering awesome results for consumer and tech companies. I love building brands that connect with people and using data to drive those “wow” moments.

My marketing journey started back in 2010 as a technical SEO Consultant. Within 3 years, I was heading up the SEO department for one of the largest independent agencies in Europe. I led a team of 20 technical SEOs and outreach specialists. It was a fast-paced environment where I honed my SEO skills and worked with some incredible clients such as Sky, giffgaff, Next, Superdry, Sky Gaming and the BBC.

From there, I moved to TravelSupermarket to lead their SEO team and help them recover their lost rankings. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I’m proud of the results we achieved. I was then promoted to oversee all performance marketing, where I had the opportunity to set up and grow the affiliates channel from £0 to £2.5m in just 2 years.

After a year and a half, I was asked to become the Marketing Director, where I took on responsibility for all marketing activities, including CRM, PR, brand, content, and social media with a budget of £9m. It was a fantastic opportunity to broaden my marketing expertise and lead a talented team.  

I then moved into the world of startups, working at tripAbrood as the Head of Growth. We were on a mission to solve the complexities of family travel accommodation. However, launching a travel startup during the pandemic was difficult and whilst we made massive progress including triple digit YoY growth, we couldn’t get the funding we needed to continue our journey.

Until September 2024 I headed up the marketing function at THE OUT, a luxury car rental company owned by Jaguar Land Rover. I’m particularly proud of the incredible out-of-home and TV campaigns we created, which delivered record-breaking revenues and share of voice for the brand. I also helped usher them into a new age of data analytic, pricing strategies and helped them expand successfully out of London.

Since 2018, I’ve been freelancing as a growth marketing consultant helping smaller businesses. This is what I’ve realised my passion is – working with businesses that have the fire to want to make change. I’ve managed to make this my full time focus and I couldn’t be more excited to start working with more smaller businesses who want to make change for the better.

I believe that life is about creating and enjoying experiences. I’m a passionate traveller and love exploring the world. I also love motorcycling and tour all over Europe. I’m fascinated by the universe and love astrophotography (but I’m not winning any awards any time soon). Basically, I’ll find any opportunity to experience what this world can offer.

What are some of my proudest moments I hear you cry! Well since you asked…

Turning around the marketing performance at THE OUT, a luxury car rental company. We went from a -50% revenue slump to a +40% surge in just 12 months.
At the same time as turning the revenue around, I managed to deliver record-breaking revenue for THE OUT. This involved strategic marketing initiatives, pricing optimisation, and a whole lot of getting my hands dirty.  
Also at the THE OUT, I spearheaded their expansion into a new market and smashed the monthly revenue targets by 40%. It’s always exciting to break new ground and see a brand flourish in a new territory.
Helping tripAbrood, an early-stage family travel startup, navigate the post-pandemic world. We achieved a 5x increase in conversion rate and a 7.5x jump in average order value through strategic repositioning and targeted marketing.  
Championing product development at TravelSupermarket, a leading travel comparison website. I helped reverse a decline in SEO rankings and drove a 30% YoY revenue increase.  
At Currys, I executed an SEO strategy that positioned them as the most visible website for white goods in the UK.  
I’ve also enjoyed working with a variety of clients through my freelance marketing consultancy, including Jessica McCormack, HOMEtainment, Galvan London, and Christopher Farr Cloth.  
Building and mentoring incredible marketing teams wherever I’ve been. It’s always sad when you stop working amazing people.
